Islamabad, Dec 15: The Pakistan Administered Kashmir Information Minister, Dr. Mehmood Riyaz has said that “there was a great understanding within the international community that a just and equitable solution of Kashmir dispute was must for lasting peace in South Asia.”
Dr. Riyaz made these remarks while interacting with representatives of both factions of Hurriyat Conference in Islamabad. He said besides the EU countries, European parliament and Norwegian parliament had voiced their full support in favour of Kashmiris’ movement and showed their concern over the alleged rights violations in valley.
He said it was high time for the government of India to accept the ground realities and pave way for a peaceful solution of the dispute that had marred the socio-economic development in the subcontinent.

Later, the PaK minister also held a separate meeting with the APHC-G leaders here. Besides amalgam’s convener Ghulam Muhammad Safi the meeting was attended by other members of the alliance.
