Islamabad, July 19: The Kashmiri leaders hailing from both sides of the Line of control on Friday urged the newly sworn in government of Pakistan led by Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif to break its silence and raise Kashmir issue vociferously at international level.
 Addressing a seminar hosted by APHC-M PaK chapter in connection with 19th July (Accession to Pakistan Day), the speakers on the occasion said that no doubt Pakistan was going through tough times but it does not mean that the government should compromise on the core issue of Kashmir or leave it on the backburner. “There can be no compromise on Kashmir and their inalienable right to self-determination,” they said.
 “No Pakistani ruler or any political party can afford to ignore the Kashmiris’ legitimate right as the fact is that Pakistan itself came into existence through right of self-determination,” they said adding that any compromise whatsoever on this issue would tantamount to weaken the very foundation of Pakistan.
 Highlighting the years’ long political struggle and the sacrifices of Kashmiris, they said that even in most difficult situations Kashmiris have remained steadfast on their resolve.
 The speakers, however, regretted that the political leadership and the ruling elite of Pakistan has failed to acknowledge and endorse the Kashmiris’ spirit, their sense of belonging and their unconditional love for the state of Pakistan.
 The participants of the seminar also denounced in strong terms the desecration of a Masjid, sacrilege of the Holy Quran and killing of innocent civilians by forces in Gool area of Ramban district and urged the world human rights bodies to take stock of the situation in the region.
 They also demanded an impartial probe into the recent revelations made by an Indian home ministry official in which he disclosed the fact that Parliament and Mumbai attacks were orchestrated by none other than the Government of India. They also appealed the Government of Pakistan to raise the issue at relevant international forums so that real culprits behind this dirty game could be exposed and brought to justice.
 The speakers through a unanimous resolution called for the inclusion of Kashmiri leadership in the Indo-Pak dialogue process. They also demanded the repeal of draconian laws enforced in the state.
 The conference was attended by civil society representatives, trader’s community and the leaders of political and religious parties from across the line of control. Of those who spoke on the occasion included Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chudhary the former Prime Minister of PaK, JI leader Nur-ul-Bari, Sagheer Chugtai of Muslim Conference, APHC convener Syed Yousuf Naseem, Hassan-ul- Bana, Mehmood Ahmed Saghar, Altaf Hussain Wani, Saleem Haroon of JKLF, Sheikh Muhammad Yaqoob, Abdul Majeed Malik, Engineer Mushtaq Ahmed, Ejaz Ahmed Shah and several others, whereas Sardar Khalid Ibraheem son of Ghazi Milat Sardar Muhammad Ibraheem Khan (late) was special guest on the occasion.

اسلام آباد// حریت کانفرنس(ع) پاکستان شاخ کے زیر اہتمام منعقدہ سیمینار سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے مقررین نے مسئلہ کشمیر کے پر امن حل پر زور دیتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ کشمیر کا دیرینہ حل طلب مسئلہ جوخطے میں کشیدگی کا بنیادی سبب ہے پاکستان اور بھارت کے درمیان ایک اور جنگ کاسبب بن سکتا ہے۔انکا کہنا تھا کہ کشمیر بنیادی طور پرپاکستان اور بھارت کے درمیان تنازعہ کی جڑ ہے جس کی وجہ سے اب تک دونوں ملک تین جنگیں لڑچکے ہیں۔13جولائی 1931کے شہداءکی یاد میں منعقدہ اس سیمینار میں سینئر صحافی ، قلم کار اور حد متارکہ کے دونوں جانب تعلق رکھنے والے سیاسی اور دینی جماعتوں کے قائدین نے شرکت کی۔اس موقعہ پر جماعت اسلامی(پاک زیر انتظام کشمیر) کے سربراہ عبدلرشید ترابی، جموں کشمیر پیپلز پارٹی کے صدر سردار خالد ابراہیم،کنوینرسید ےوسف نسیم، محمود احمد ساغر، معروف قلم کار ارشاد محمود اور حریت کانفرنس کے دیگر نمائندوں نے بھی خطاب کیا۔شہد اءکشمیر کوخراج عقیدت پیش کرتے ہوئے مقررین نے کہا کہ 13جولائی کا واقعہ اسلامی تاریخ کا انوکھا واقعہ ہے کہ جس میںاذان کے آغاز سے لیکر اختتام اذان تک 21کشمیریوں نے جام شہادت نوش کیا۔انکا کہنا تھا کہ کشمیر قوم نے1931میں ڈوگرہ حکومت کیخلاف علم بغاوت بلند کرتے ہوئے اپنے حقوق کے لئے جد وجہد کا باقاعدہ آغازکیا۔اس تاریخ ساز واقعے کو موجودہ جدوجہد کا ایک اہم سنگ میل قرار دیتے ہوئے مقررین نے کہا کہ کشمیر ی گذشتہ کئی دہائیوں سے اپنے حقوق کے لئے جدوجہد کر رہے ہیں۔انہوں نے کہاکئی دہائیوں پر محیط کشمیری عوام کی سیاسی جدو جہد اورانکی بے مثال قربانیاں اس بات کی متقاضی ہیں کی تمام آزادی پسند جماعتیں متحد و متفق ہوںتاکہ موجودہ تحریک کو اس کے منطقی انجام تک پہنچایا جاسکے۔انکا کہنا تھا کہ حریت قائدین کے مابین اختلاف اور نا اتفاقی سے کشمیر کاز کو اندرونی اور بیرونی سطح پر نقصان پہنچا ہے۔دنیا میں بدلتے ہوئے منظر نامے کا حوالہ دیتے ہوئے انہوں نے کہا کہ موجودہ صورتحال میں سیاسی قیادت میںاجتماعی سوچ ، اتحاد و اتفاق ہی وہ واحد ذریعہ ہے جس سے کشمیری قوم کو مایوسی کے اندھیروں اورChaosسے باہر نکالا جاسکتا ہے۔اتحاد کے ضرورت کو اجاگر کرتے ہوئے مقررین نے کہا کہ ضرورت اس بات کی ہے کہ حد متارکہ کے دونوں جانب موجودسیاسی قیادت خود احتسابی کے عمل سے گذر کر آئندہ کے لئے ایک واضح اور جامع حکمت عملی وضح کرے تاکہ تحریک کو اس کے منطقی انجام تک پہنچایا جاسکے۔انہوں نے کہا کہ اس سلسلہ میں لیڈرشپ کو سر جوڑ کر بیٹھنا چاہیے اور بنیادی اصولوں پر کمپرومائز کئے بغیرایک طریقہ کار وضع کر لینا چاہیے۔انہوں نے کہا کہ اصول اور حکمت عملی میں فرق ہے، حکمت عملی تبدیل ہوسکتی ہے لیکن اصول نہیں بدلتے۔انہوں نے کہا کہ تمام تر خامیوں اور کوتاہیوں کو ایک طرف رکھ کر کشمیر کاز کے لئے اپنی کوششیں تیز کرنے کی ضرورت ہے ۔انہوں نے کہا کہ تحریک کو ایک منظم اور مضبوط ادارے کی ضرور ت ہے لیکن 20سال گذر گئے پر آج تک کوئی ٹھوس ادارہ قائم نہ ہوسکا۔انہوں نے کہا کہ وقت آچکا ہے کہ ہمیں سچ کو سچ اور جھوٹ کو جھوٹ کہنا چاہیے۔پاکستان اور بھارت کے درمیان مذاکرات کے حوالے مقررین نے کہا کہ حکومت پاکستان کوبھارت کے ساتھ کسی بھی مذاکراتی عمل کا آغاز کرنے سے قبل کشمیری قیادت سے مشورہ کرنا چاہیے۔انہوں نے کہا کہ کشمیر ی مذاکرات کے خلاف نہیں تاہم بات چیت کشمیری قوم کی قربانیوں کی قیمت پر نہیں ہونی چاہیے۔انہوں نے پاکستان کی موجودہ حکومت پر کڑی نقطہ چینی کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ نوازشریف جسکی حکومت سے کشمیری قوم کو کافی امیدیں وابستہ ہیں نے آج تک کشمیر کا نام نہیں لیا۔انہوں نے کہا کہ وزیر اعظم نے اپنے دورہ مظفر آباد کے دوران بھی کشمیریوں کی موجودہ تحریک کے حوالے ایک لفظ تک نہیںبولا اور ےہاں تک کہ انہوں نے پارلمینٹ میں اپنی پہلی تقریرمیں بھی کشمیر کا ذکر نہیں کیا جو انتہائی افسوسناک ہے۔

‘Kashmir can re-ignite Indo-Pak conflict’

Islamabad, July 13: Stressing the need for a peaceful resolution of Kashmir dispute, speakers at a seminar hosted by APHC-M PaK chapter on Saturday observed that the decades’ long old unresolved dispute of Kashmir has the potential to re-ignite flames of conflict between India and Pakistan.
“Kashmir has been the main cause of hostility and animosity between India and Pakistan and this issue in fact caused both the nations to go to war at least three times since 1947”, the speakers said while addressing the seminar, which was held to pay homage to Kashmiri martyrs of July 13, 1931. The conference was attended by senior journalists, civil society representatives and the leaders of political and religious parties from across the Line of Control.
Paying rich tributes to Kashmiri martyrs, speakers on the occasion pointed out that 13th July incident was a unique incidence in the entire Islamic History wherein 21 Kashmiris one after the other offered their lives to accomplish Azan (the call to prayer). Terming this incident as milestone of Kashmiris’ ongoing struggle for right to self-determination they said the people of the troubled region have been struggling for their democratic rights over the past several decades. They said that the years-long struggle and the sacrifices of the Kashmiri nation demand that the leadership should get united for the greater cause saying that the discontent and disarray within the separatist leadership had adversely affected the cause of Kashmir both at local as well as the international level.
Referring to the changing world scenario they said that at this very crucial stage collectivism and togetherness at the leadership-level was must to take the nation out of dark prospects of despondency and pandemonium. Highlighting the importance of broad-based unity they said that there was a dire need that the leadership across the divide (LoC) should retrospect and determine its future course of action in line with the changes sweeping across the globe. “It is time to speak the truth and call a spade a spade even if it is unpleasant”, they maintained. “Policies remain changing however the basic principles remain unaltered”, they said adding that the leadership across the board should sit together and devise a comprehensive policy without compromising the fundamental principles that provide a strong basses to the movement.
Regarding the Indo-Pak dialogue they said that in principle Kashmiris have never opposed the dialogue process between the two countries. “But the dialogue should not be at the cost of Kashmiris sacrifices”, they said.
Expressing serious concern over the Pakistani government’s indifference towards Kashmir issue, they said that the incumbent regime seems over enthusiastic in establishing bilateral relations with India.  To the contrary they said that there has been no response whatsoever from the government of India. Kashmiris had pinned high hopes on the newly established government in Pakistan but it was astonishing to note that the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif whose ancestors have traveled from Kashmir did not utter even a single word on Kashmir during his recent visit to Muzaffarabad. “The Prime Minister did not even mention Kashmir during his maiden speech in the parliament”, they said.
Of those who spoke on the occasion included JI chief Abdul Rashid Turabi, Kahlid Ibraheem President Jammu Kashmir Peoples Party, Sagheer Chugtai of Muslim Conference, Murtaza Durani Press Secretary to PaK premier, Bakhat Zameen chief of Al-Badr, Iftikhar Ahmed Dawat-ul-Irshad, veteran writer and columnist Ershad Mehmood, PTI leader Moin Ahmed, APHC convener Syed Yousuf Naseem, Mehmood Ahmed Saghar, Tufail Altaf, Saleem Haroon of JKLF, Hassan-ul-Bana, Abdul Majeed Malik, Advocate Pervez Ahmed Shah and several others.

APHC-G convenes meeting
Meanwhile, the APHC-G Pak chapter during a meeting with its Convener Ghulam Muhammad Safi in chair paid homage to 1931, July 13 martyrs and said their sacrifices won’t go waste. The participants reiterated their resolve to uphold the mission of Kashmiri martyrs.
The meeting was attended by Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, Ishtiaq Hameed, Abdul Majeed, Muhammad Khateeb, Adeel Mushtaq, Pervez Ahmad Shah and Mehmood Ahmad.

Saghar aghast over killing of Kashmiri youth

Islamabad, July 01 - 2013 : Denouncing the killing of two Kashmiri youth by Indian army in Kashmir’s Bandipora district, the vice president of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party Mehmood Ahmed Saghar has said, “Kashmir has become a killing field where innocent civilians are being killed by Indian troops without any rhyme and reason.”
Saghar in a statement in Islamabad said, under the protection of draconian laws like AFSPA, POTA and TADA, without any inkling of accountability the Indian troops continue to wreak havoc in the territory. Terming black laws as major cause of human rights violations in Kashmir.
He said, “Despite repeated calls from Kashmiri civil society and demands from the international human rights organizations India had failed to repeal black laws enforced in the territory". To the contrary he said it was astonishing to note that the Indian army had declared AFSPA as a “holy book” for its trigger-happy forces deployed in the length and breadth of Kashmir. The DFP vice president said that during the month of June Indian troops had killed 11 Kashmiris. “And killing of two innocent youth is yet another horrific incident that left the entire valley completely shell-shocked”, he added.
Flaying Indian authorities for imposing undue restrictions on Hurriyet leaders he said that such tactics used by India won’t stop pro-freedom leadership from pursuing their collective cause. Expressing his serious concern over the prevailing human rights situation in Kashmir Saghar said that it was high time that the world human rights bodies should take stock of the worsening situation in the disputed territory and exert pressure on India to stop human rights abuse perpetrated by its troops in Kashmir.

Pays tributes to slain Hizb militants

Muzaffarabad, July 2: The chairman of United Jihad Council (UJC), Syed Salahuddin has said the sacred-blood of Kashmiri martyrs demands that the separatist leadership must forge unity and come forward with a unified approach to convey an unambiguous message to India that Kashmiris were one and united on the issue of right to self-determination.
The UJC chief made these assertions while addressing a special session of Hizb Command Council here on Tuesday. Referring to three Hizb militants who died during an encounter at Tral in south Kashmir on Monday Salahuddin said, “The martyrdom of Mujahideen amply demonstrates the fact that every Hizb activist and commander is committed to Kashmir cause and they are ready to sacrifice their precious lives to achieve this noble cause”. “Martyrdom is our own preferred course, path, and let the world know that the freedom loving people of Kashmir are at the back of Hizb-ul-Mujahideen”, he said adding that the mission of martyrs would be upheld and carried forward at all costs. Urging the separatists to adopt a joint course of action the Hizb supreme commander said, “At this critical phase of movement the pro-freedom leadership should adopt a united and unified approach to honour the sacrifices rendered by the Kashmiri martyrs.”
Suggesting political opportunists not to waste their time Salahuddin made it clear that good governance, economic packages and so called political reforms were not any solution to the lingering Kashmir dispute. He said that all these things were meaningless for Kashmiris saying that the one and only demand of Kashmiri people was to settle the dispute in line with their wishes and aspirations.
Urging the incumbent government of Pakistan to stick to its principled stance on the issue of Kashmir Syed Salahuddin said that instead of forging unilateral friendship with India the newly sworn in government of Pakistan should evolve a coherent and convincing diplomatic policy on the issue. The Hizb command council on the occasion paid rich tributes to the Hizb fighters who were killed in Tral on Monday.

مظفر آباد//متحدہ جہاد کونسل کے چیرمین سید صلاح الدین نے کہا ہے کہ شہداءکشمیر کامقدس لہو اس بات کامتقاضی ہے کہ تمام حریت پسند قیادت متحد ہوکر ایک مشترکہ لائحہ عمل اور مشترکہ سوچ اختیار کرکے دنیا کو یہ پیغام دے کہ جموں وکشمیر کے عوام حصول حق خودارادیت کی جدوجہد میں متحد اور متفق ہیں۔ےہاں جاری ایک بیان کے مطابق حزب سربراہ نے ان خیالات کا اظہار حزب المجاہدین کی کمانڈ کونسل کے ایک خصوصی اجلاس سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے کیا۔ترال ڈاڈہ سرہ میں حز ب المجاہدین کے تین عساکرشہنواز سید،شبیر احمد اور اعجاز احمد کی حالےہ شہادت کا حوالہ دیتے ہوئے انہوں نے کہ مجاہدین کی شہادت سے ےہ بات واضح ہوتی ہے کہ تحریک آزادی کشمیر کی کامیابی کےلئے حزب کاہر ساتھی، مجاہد، رہنما خون کا آخری قطرہ تک قربان کرنے کےلئے تیار ہے ۔ انہوں نے کہاکہ شہادت ہمارا اپنا خود متعین کردہ راستہ ہے اور پوری دنیا کو یہ جان لینا چاہیے کہ حریت پسند کشمیری عوام حز ب المجاہدین کے ساتھ ہے۔انہوں نے کہا کہ شہداءکا مشن ہر قیمت پرجاری رہے گا۔انکا کہنا تھا کہ آئے روز قربانیاں جو کہیں مجاہدین کی صورت میں اور کہیں بانڈی پورہ کے نہتے اور معصوم شہریوں کی صورت میں جاری ہے اس مقدس لہو کا تقاضہ ہے کہ قیادت متحد ہوجائے اور متحدہ اور مشترکہ سوچ اختیار کرکے غاصب و جارح قوتوں کو یہ پیغام دے کہ جموں وکشمیر کے عوام آزادی او ر حق خودارادیت حاصل کرنے کی جدوجہد میں ایک سیسہ پلائی ہوئی دیوار کی طرح کھڑے ہیں۔ انہوں نے حریت پسند قیادت سے اپیل کی کہ وہ اس فیصلہ کن مرحلے پر متحدہ اور متفقہ سوچ اختیار کرکے ان قربانیوں کی لاج رکھتے میں اپنا کردار ادا کریں۔صرف ایک مضبوط اور متحدہ سیاسی پلیٹ فارم اور تیز بہدف عسکری کارروائیاں تحریک آزادی کی کامیابی کےلئے ناگزیر ہیں۔ ان میں سے کسی ایک کا منتشر یا کمزور ہونا، تحریک آزادی کی کمزوری سمجھا جائیگا۔ سید صلاح الدین نے طالع آزما سیاستدانوں کو مشورہ دیا کہ وہ اکانومک پیکیج اور گڈ گورننس اور سیاسی اصلاحات کی مالا جپنے پر اپنا وقت ضائع نہ کریں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ کشمیری عوام صرف اور صرف ان کی خواہشات کے مطابق مسئلہ کشمیر کا حل چاہتے ہیں اور دیگر چیزیں ان کیلئے بے معنی ٰ ہیں ۔سید صلاح الدین نے حکومت پاکستان کو بھی مشورہ یا کہ وہ بھارت کے ساتھ یک طرفہ دوستی کی پینگیں بڑھانے کے بجائے 65 سالہ موقف پر سختی سے قائم رہتے ہوئے ایک ٹھوس مربوط اور مضبوط سیاسی وسفارتی کشمیر پالیسی تشکیل دے۔حزب کمانڈ کونسل نے شہداء ترال کو زبردست الفاظ میں خراج عقیدت ادا کرتے ہوئے ان کے حق میں دعا مغفرت کی اور اس عزم کا اظہار کیاکہ تحریک آزادی کشمیر پوری قوت اور شدت کے ساتھ ہر محاذ پر جاری رہیگی۔
