Attique leaves for Kazakhstan on special plane

Islamabad, June 28: The outgoing Prime Minister Pakistan administered Kashmir Sardar Attique Ahmed Khan left on a special charter plane to Kazakhstan on Tuesday to attend the three day session of the Organisation of the Islamic Conference (OIC) starting from June 28.

Pertinently, the Airport authorities had earlier barred Attique from traveling to Kazakhstan. Talking to media-men at Benazir Airport, Attique said that he had got a message from the Foreign Ministry stating that there was no need to travel to the Country.

Meanwhile, taking prompt notice of the incident, Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has advised the Foreign Office to provide a special plane to PaK premier and had directed the Ministry to facilitate his visit to Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan.
Khan said that he was going to attend the OIC’s contact group meeting on Kashmir on a special invitation of the secretary general Professor Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu.
