Islamabad, June 30: The convener of Hurriyat Conference (M)—Pak chapter---Mehmood Ahmed Saghar on Thursday said that Kashmir is not a territorial dispute between India and Pakistan.
“India and Pakistan are parties to the dispute, however as a principal party to the issue Kashmiris have the right to decide their fate through free, fair and impartial plebiscite guaranteed to them by the international community and the leadership of India as well. Kashmir issue cannot be resolved bilaterally,” Saghar said in a statement.
“Instead of issuing statements India should accept the ground realities and resolve the core issue of Kashmir peacefully in accordance with aspirations of Kashmiris,” he said.
