Islamabad, Aug 31: The Chairman of All Parties Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir, Moulana Fazl Rehman, has summoned the Committee’s session to discuss the problems faced by Kashmiri migrant community settled in various make-shift camps of Muzaffarabad and other areas of Pakistani administered Kashmir (PaK).
“The Kashmir Committee chairman called the urgent meeting after taking notice of the refugees’ problems reported by different news papers of the region recently”, said a statement here on Friday.
According to details, the meeting scheduled to be held at Parliament House on 2nd September at 2 PM would be attended by members of the Committee whereas federal minister for Kashmir Affairs and top officials of Foreign Ministry, Ministry Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan and the concerned authorities from PaK have been specially invited to attend the meeting.
It is worth to mention here that the number of members of Parliamentary Kashmir Committee had now swelled to 36 after the National Assembly speaker recently announced induction of 12 senators in the committee that included Barrister Aitzaz Ahsan, senator Mushid Hussain, senator Raza Rubbani, Haji Adeel and others.
